The Emotional Wellness Brigade enhances the depth of emotional wellness in the community.

What

The Emotional Wellness Brigade (EWB), supports the Foundation's goal of providing education and training that promotes well-being through offering grants to individuals to be trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT). RTT uses the power of the subconscious to change beliefs and behaviors that are not beneficial. This change can occur in a single session instead of months or years in traditional talk therapy. This therapy method incorporates components of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, and cognitive behavioral therapy. It’s designed to uncover the root cause of an issue in order to imprint new, positive, and powerful messages into the client’s subconscious and produce permanent results through rewiring the neural pathways of the brain. Issues can range from phobias to food allergies to trauma. The RTT training occurs with Marisa Peer, the creator of the RTT program and Britain’s top-rated therapist. Marisa is trained as a child psychologist and earned qualifications from the Hypnosis Training Institute of Los Angeles and the Pritikin Longevity Centre. Grant Details

The grant will fund up to $4,000 towards the RTT training. The grant amount would apply towards any of the grantee’s cost of the training program, travel, and board. The trainings with Marisa are held around the world and might require some travel. In exchange for the grant, each grantee will provide 20 complimentary RTT sessions - with each session being at least 90 minutes - to clients who have experienced sexual trauma and are eager to overcome the limitations the trauma has caused. Depending on multiple factors, a client may require more than one session. Please note: the Lively Community Foundation will provide the clients for the purposes of the grant requirements. Because RTT has proven to be an effective form of therapy for individuals who have experienced trauma, the Foundation prioritized the issue of sexual trauma for this round of grants as RTT would help alleviate the adverse mental, emotional, and physical consequences. The 20 complimentary sessions must be completed within six months of the RTT training program completion. Additionally, prior to working with a new client, the grant recipient will conduct an introductory call to familiarize themselves with clients in order to enable trust and to set clear expectations on the RTT session. In this first round of training grants, applicants will be selected based on their comfort level in working with individuals who have experienced any form of trauma.

process

The grant opportunity is open and available to anyone who is interested in applying. The application will assess why the grantee wants to be trained in RTT and their comfort level with trauma. At the close of the application deadline, a selected pool of applicants will be invited for phone interviews with the Foundation Team.
